It's pretty obvious to me that you need some guidence!

So, that's what fatherly advice is like.

Bio
My name's LJ. I'm fifteen.

All you've gotta do is rent one of those crappy teen drama movies and you'll know the story of my life. Two lonely kids from poor backrounds find love in high school and whoops, the girl's pregnant. The guy, being a noble young man, sticks with the girl and when a bouncing baby boy is born, both the girl and boy are changed forever. The boy's no longer a boy, he's a man and his son makes him a better person.

Well, that's me. I'm the son that was supposed to fix my father. Didn't work out all too well, apparently, considering how he's in prison for murder and will be executed in about two weeks. Sucks, doesn't it? Sure, we got on well. As much as any father and son who saw eachother once a week, but now it's kinda hard to have deep and meaningful man-to-man talks when your dad is behind shatter-proof glass and secured with chains.

He's innocent, I know it, but like that matters. The only other person that seems to really believe that is my Uncle Mike and he's in prison too. The same one as my dad, actually. Guess Uncle Mike just couldn't live in a world without his big brother so he had to shoot himself in the foot (Or a bank, in this case) and get locked up behind bars too.

A couple years back, my mom married Adrian and we were boosted up the social ladder. Had the whole big house, cell phone, ipod thing going on. They're both dead now. Mom and Adrian. The police think that I did it. My fingerprints are on the gun, but I never touched the murder weapon. Those guys in suits, they're the killers. They murdered my family and they framed me for it.

Someone set up my dad and now they're coming after me.

Up until a few months ago, LJ was just your average kid from Oak Park, Illinois. He lived in a nice house with his mother, Lisa and step-dad, Adrian. He did his chores. He got good grades. He wasn’t any trouble to anyone.

Then, his birth father, Lincoln Burrows, lost his final appeal and his date of execution was set. That affected LJ more than he would let on.

The last few months he’s been an entirely different person, culminating in his arrest for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. LJ has stated repeated times that his father has no influence on him. Judging by his recent actions, that may not be entirely true.

There is currently a warrant out for LJ's arrest in connection with the murders of his mother and step-father.

LJ: I don’t have a father.
Lisa: It wasn’t an immaculate conception, honey, trust me.

Lisa: [referring to Lincoln's son, LJ] I figured he could use some fatherly advice before it’s...
Lincoln: Gone forever?
Lisa: I didn’t mean that.
Lincoln: I know you didn’t.

Lisa: Two pounds of pot? What were trying to do, set a record?
LJ: *smiles*
Lisa: It's not funny, LJ! You could be going to jail!

Lincoln: Dope, huh? Using or dealing?
LJ: What's the difference?
Lincoln: Then what? You think it gives you some kind of street cred? You got a piece of the good life. Take advantage.

LJ: Look, I get it. The whole thing. She drags me in here, you give me a big speech, and I walk away a changed man. Straight A's, Harvard, grow up and be a dentist.
Lincoln: Better than being here. You gotta realize who's getting punished when you're doing the things that you're doing.

Lincoln: They're putting me to death, LJ. In a month's time, I'll be dead. You get that?
LJ: You're already dead to me.

Linc: LJ. Thank God. Are you alright?
LJ: No. Nowhere near it.
Linc: What do you mean? Where are you?
LJ: What they're saying about me, it's not true, it's --
Linc: I know it's not true.
LJ: They killed her. They killed her. Right in front of me. They killed her right in front of my eyes, and, and, and, why are they doing this?
Linc: You gotta -- you gotta -- listen! Listen! You gotta step up, you gotta be the man now. You understand me? You understand me, LJ?
